Tell us about your store. What inspired you to create it?
HW Home is a multi-location Home Furnishings and accessory store. We opened our first location in June, 1999 after seeing a need for businesses like ours in the Colorado market. Our passion for design has always been the impetus to our success.
Talk to us about your product curation. How do you decide which brands to offer?
After nearly 25 years in business, we have come to realize how best to curate relationships with those who provide great product and customer support. Our vendor partners are critical to our success and we rely on them to provide forward thinking products and to support our efforts in selling them in our market.
What is your favorite or “must-have” LAFCO product and why?
It is impossible for us to select our favorite product from Lafco as the entire collection sells well and we love everything from this trusted partner. If forced to select the one item we can’t live without in our store, it would be the Cilantro Orange Kitchen Candle. Or maybe the Feu de Bois. Or maybe…

What advice or ideas would you like to share with other independent businesses?
Our best advice to independent retailers is to do what you love. Make sure you have passion for your business. Everyone can tire of their work from time to time. It is important to find ways to keep things fresh both for your employees and your customers.
